“There is a simple and complex order in all of nature, a divinely sourced balance of
harmony with diversity. My challenge as an artist is to search out how we visually perceive
form and space. I then attempt to transpose this understanding and put it down on my
canvas in a way that is clearly and effortlessly understood by the viewer. If I am successful,
even if the viewer may not be enamored by my style or technique he or she will recognize
